I Stephan James Hester am a Black man, former athlete, author, investor, and business owner. The Way of The Unknown Black Man is a story of how I grew up as a young Black man in the inner city of Houston, Texas. I was raised in the hood but came up with instrumental figures that provided guidance that took me from being shot down in the streets as a teenager to becoming a self-made man in my twenties. This book sheds light on my story, but it also sheds light on the giants whose shoulders I stand on today.
