Through two intuitive methods, pressure test and smoke injection, the leakage point can be quickly locked: pressure test directly shows the tightness of the system, and smoke detection makes the leakage position clearly visible. This efficient scheme can help to quickly restore vehicle power and achieve accurate maintenance.
- Upgraded Stepped Adapter: This testing kit is equipped with six pairs of stepped adapters, which can flexibly match turbine systems with different diameters. The adapter is made of high-quality hard nylon and metal composite material to ensure firm installation and reliable sealing during testing. Adapters O.D. range: 46mm(1-4/5"), 51mm(2"), 55mm(2-1/8"), 60mm(2-3/8"), 65mm(2-1/2"), 70mm(2-3/4"), 75mm(3"), 80mm(3-1/8"), 85mm(3-3/8"), 90mm(3-1/2"), 95mm(3-3/4"), 100mm(4").
- Pressure Adjustment and Over-voltage Protection: The precision pressure gauge has a range of 0–6 bar, and is equipped with a pressure regulator and a pressure relief valve. When adjusting the pressure, just pull up and rotate the pressure regulating device to set the required pressure, and then press it down to lock it. When the system pressure exceeds the safety threshold (generally 36Psi/2.5Bar), the red pressure relief valve can be pulled immediately for manual decompression.
- Operation Process: Select proper adapters to seal the turbine inlet and outlet, and connect the pressure gauge and the smoke machine with a T-type connector. Connect the workshop air source after preset detection pressure, turn off the air source after pressurization, observe the stability of the pressure gauge and check the smoke escape simultaneously. Note: Need to be used with compressed air in the workshop, and the voltage regulator must be preset to low pressure before operation.
- Wide Application: The turbo boost test kit uses standard workshop air to test leaks in the turbine system. While designed for turbo system, the leak location function is also used for testing radiators, coolers, and tube/pipe assemblies, which makes the test tool set suitable for most cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as heavy commercial vehicles and marine systems.
