The Steinel 42301 HAWK multipurpose kit includes an HG 2300 EM heat gun, which emits airstreams at temperatures ranging from 80 to 1,100 degrees F up to 15.4 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at a pressure of 3,000 pascal. The gun’s temperature and airflow can be varied continuously with two slide switches. The straight form gun has a field-changeable heating element with a coil life of up to 500 hours and electronic thermocouple control to precisely regulate the output temperature. The HG 2300 EM has a sealed direct current (DC) brushless motor and a power cord that can be changed without opening the enclosure. The kit includes a silicone seam roller and two angle slit nozzles for PVC lap welding, a 90 degree corner nozzle, a welding nozzle, two reduction nozzles, an extra heating element, and a heavy duty carrying case for safe transport and storage.
